Overview of Ashitaba International Patent Attorney Corporation

We are an international patent office that handles a wide range of matters, from applications, responses, and other procedures for patents, utility models, designs, and trademarks in Japan and various other countries, to appraisals, lawsuits, contracts, intellectual property consulting, and patent searches.

Founded in 1996, we support intellectual property rights for a wide range of clients, including large corporations, listed companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, and startups.

In the patent field for Japanese applications, we mainly handle chemistry (petroleum, organic, inorganic, metal, materials), biotechnology, machinery, electrical/software/business models, and we also handle designs and trademarks in Japan.

In the field of foreign applications, we handle patents, designs, and trademarks, and we have a track record in more than 20 countries, including the United States, Europe, and China.

Our members include 5 patent attorneys, 3 domestic administrative staff, and 2 foreign administrative staff, totaling 10 people.
